Academic and Career Counselling
Academic and Career Counselling is done initially by Students Advisors during selection of programmes when students apply to study at BA ISAGO. If along their studies again these students are identified, usually through their poor results, the Division do the counselling. This guidance and counselling is on individual basis.
The one unfortunate thing is that students do not voluntarily approach the Division for assistance, but are mostly picked when results are discussed at Academic Affairs Board and found that they have performed poorly. Absenteeism is to be reported fortnightly to the Division, to address the issue of poor performance before it is too late. Names of the concerned students are submitted to SWSSD by the academic Departments.
